How much did it cost to buy my pardon?

To wash and to sanctify me?

How much did it cost my Lord and Saviour?

Just look at the cross and you’ll see!

 

I cried when I listened to that story,

But my mom said I had to be brave

For the good news about the King of Glory

Was on the third day He rose from the grave!!

 

I must give all praise and all thanksgiving
